I love Columbus because…

It has incredible networking opportunities which can open doors. You can have an idea in Columbus and make it a reality because there is access to movers and shakers who can actualize that vision. People in Columbus want others to succeed and there is a fantastic sense of community here.

I believe young professionals are important to our city because…

They can truly make a difference here. Unlike New York City and Chicago, Columbus is small enough for people to know each other, collaborate, and the potential make big things happen.

Why do I fundraise in Columbus?

Charity work, with a focus on the LGBTQ community, has been a staple of the 15-16 years that I have spent doing drag in Columbus. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing organizations including the Kaleidoscope Youth Center, Equitas Health (FKA Columbus Aids Task Force), Columbus Aids Coalition, and Susan G. Komen. While many factors drive me to this work, knowing how a single act can change someone’s outlook forever is the primary motivator for me.
