The Create Columbus Commission (CCC) has announced the appointment of 9 new commissioners and the election of their 2021 executive committee. The CCC is an organization of YPs, individuals within the ages of 20 and 40, dedicated to building a culturally and economically inclusive community in Columbus that enables young professionals to make a difference and achieve their greatest potential.

“Entering our fourteenth year, I am blown away by the wealth of talent and experience this class brings” said Aba Azeem, Chair of the Create Columbus Commission. “I am proud of the way the organization and its members moved with force in response to the unprecedented challenges brought by the pandemic and racial injustices in 2020: seen through our partnerships in We Are All In This Together, providing meals to the community while supporting local restaurants; and our catalyst grants focused on dispelling systemic racism. I am confident that our 2021 class is more than equipped to face the existing and new challenges surrounding public health and safety in our community.”
